Why should I use a virtual or fractional CMO? A fractional CMO is the ideal solution for a company that needs to grow and scale. You may not be at a point where you can justify a full-time CMO, but a part-time, fractional CMO might be just right. Perhaps you have a current CMO or VP of marketing, but your marketing isn’t showing a positive return or meeting your goals. We can help you solve the puzzle and get your marketing on track!

Why should we go with Your Virtual CMO? Your Virtual CMO is different. All of our CMOs have functioned as CMOs or Vice Presidents of Marketing. They average over 15 years of experience. All have marketing agency experience and have worked with clients in a variety of industries. All have experience with start-ups and nearly all have served on the board of directors of one or more companies.

Does Your Virtual CMO only work virtually or can you work on location? Your Virtual CMO can work either at your location or remotely (virtual). Typically, the work that’s done early on is done on-site. Once the relationship is established, more work can be done remotely.

How do I get started? The first step is a consultation call. That call typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. During this call we will try to learn as much about your company’s marketing challenges. At the end of this call we will provide you with recommendations based on industry best practices. In the case of larger enterprises and holding companies, multiple consultations may be required prior to setting a course towards marketing excellence.

We are a start-up and cashflow is an issue. Can we afford you? Typically the answer is yes. We have a variety of creative payment options that we can share with you. We have a solution for nearly every budget. We’ll work with you to figure out a course that will be mutually beneficial.

What kind of industries do you work? We can work with nearly any industry, because our staff represent such a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Heavily regulated industries such as financial services and medical devices and services represent a unique set of challenges that we are uniquely equipped to overcome. This is due to our extensive experience and unique approach to differentiation in these areas.

Can you help small, family-run businesses? Absolutely! But, in order to maximize the value that you receive from our services, you need to be a growth-oriented business, that’s fully committed to investing in growth and setting aggressive goals.

Can you handle 100% of our marketing? While our primary emphasis is providing executive level, guidance and oversight, our breadth and depth of experience allows to bring the world’s best resources to your challenges. While most of our clients choose to engage outside, low-cost outsource providers, some do need a more polished and refined image and elect to use our production resources.

Are you going to fire my current staff? In most cases (nearly all, in fact) we are  able to work with existing staff to create the right resource mix for our clients. The key is getting the right people doing the right job at the right time. People tend to do a better job doing work they enjoy and for which they are well suited. This means, we need to get to know your people and find out their interest, skills and desires and then mentor them to their best and highest possible use.
